Bernetta Elaine Post

Bernetta Elaine Post, 68, died peacefully on Saturday, July 12, 2008, in Show Low. Memorial services will be held at 11 o’clock this morning (July 18) at “The Cabin,” located at 2869 Deer Trail in Overgaard.
   She was born April 4, 1940, in Flagstaff to Joseph and Bernetta (Huff) Liles.
   Elaine was a Registered Nurse for many years, where her passion was working with the children in pediatrics.
   She loved to fish, especially catching trout, and she lived for her grandchildren.
   Survivors include her son, Bill (Debbie) Post of Queen Creek; her daughter, Leanne (Wade) Martin of Flagstaff; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Liles of Utah and Joe Liles of Payson; and many aunts, uncles and extended family.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Post in 2006, two grandsons and her parents.
   Owens Mortuary of Show Low is in charge of the arrangements.
