Eska Elizabeth Carpenter

Eska Elizabeth Carpenter, 84, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, June 19, 2008, in Vernon, Ariz.
   Eska was born July 5, 1923, in Spencer, W. Va., to the late Ralph & Gertrude (Marks) Carpenter. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
    She is survived by a daughter, Karen Ann Taylor; three sons, Teddy Eugene Jones, David Franklin Jones, and William Rex Jones; a stepdaughter, Linda Kay Reeves; and numerous grandchildren.
   Private services are planned.
    Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
