Five Area Players Are Named To 3A North All Region Squad

   Three Winslow players and two Holbrook players were selected to the 3A North All Region Basketball Team.
   Bulldogs selected to the All Region Team included senior Lakota Shirley and juniors Dale Dixon and Kraig Shirley. Junior Jevon Estelle and sophomore Micheaux Begaii were selected for honorable mention from Winslow.
   Holbrook had Adrian Sandoval and Tyler Stingley on the All 3A North Region Team. Kory Koerperich and Jalen Jackson were Roadrunners who received honorable mention.
   Koyai Clauschee of Chinle was selected as the 3A North Region Player of the Year. Joining him on the elite squad were teammates Steve Halwood, Brandon Yazzie and Laine Yazzie. Lance Chischillie and William Wilson were Wildcats who received honorable mention.
   Marcus Begay represented the Ganado Hornets on the All Region Team. Sherwin Hale and Travis James were Hornets who received honorable mention.
   Jonathan Delmar was the Monument Valley Mustang on the All Region Team. Shayne Begay and Preston Parrish were Mustangs who received honorable mention.
   Ryan Yazzie represented the Tuba City Warriors on the All Region Team. Everett Chee and Jo-El Thomas were Warriors who received honorable mention.
   Todd Perkins was selected from the Window Rock Scouts for the All Region Team. Dominque Dale and Jaydiamond Taliman were Scouts who received honorable mention.
   WHS Coach Ricky Greer was selected as the 3A North Region Boys’ Basketball Coach of the Year. Greer just completed his second year of coaching, and led his team into the final four of the state tournament both years.
