All Star Basketball Games Slated May 29 In Phoenix

   The Arizona High School All Star Games scheduled May 29 at U.S. Airways Arena in Phoenix will feature four players from Winslow High School. Lady Bulldogs Kourtney Shirley and Paige Shirley will play in the 1-3A Senior Girls All Star Game at 1 p.m. Bulldog Lakota Shirley will play in the 1-3A Senior Boys All Star Game at 2:30 p.m., and junior Bulldog Kraig Shirley will play in the Underclassmen Boys All Star Game at 4 p.m.
   The Winslow players on the North Senior Girls All Star Team will be joined by Sam Yazzie of Holbrook, with April Lester of Holbrook as an alternate. Amazingly, their opponent, the South Team, includes fellow 3A North Region player Nicole Tsosie of Chinle.
   Lakota Shirley is on the South Team for the Senior Boys All Star game. Tyler Stingley of Holbrook and Todd Perkins of Window Rock are alternates for that game.
   Kraig Shirley is on the West Team for the Underclassmen Boys All Star Game. The only other 3A North Region player who may be in that game is Kory Koerperich of Holbrook, who is an alternate.
