Thinning clouds between storm fronts briefly allowed a pale sun to catch a glimpse of new snow on the ground Monday.  From Winslow to Holbrook, few areas received more than one to two inches of fresh fall.  By Tuesday afternoon most had melted away, including that along this fenceline north of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad tracks.
