Central County Transportation Meetings Scheduled On July 14

    Navajo County, the City of Holbrook and the City of Winslow are working in conjunction with the Arizona Department of Transportation to hold public meetings on the Central Navajo County Transportation Plan from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, at the Winslow City Council Chambers, located at 115 E. Second St., and from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on July 14 at the Holbrook City Council chambers, located at 465 First Ave.
    The public is invited to attend and learn about the current progress on the plan. The meetings will present current and future transportation conditions, and discuss issues related to the 20-year transportation needs and improvements within the county.
    The county public works staff, ADOT, and project consultants Wilson & Company Inc. will be present to answer questions.
    The meetings will be informal open houses where participants are welcome to ask questions about the project, and provide input regarding transportation needs and concerns. The open houses will be held prior to brief updates to members of the city council during their regular meetings at 7 p.m.
