Photo by Matthew Barger Judy Douglas and Pete Kretsedemas were honored Thursday evening, July 3, by the Winslow Chamber of Commerce for their many years of service as board members and to the community at large. Judy and her late husband Randall owned and operated Douglas Market, and she later worked at The Winslow Mail. She is now a volunteer at the library. Pete and his brothers George and Jim owned and operated the Falcon Restaurant, which was well known throughout the state and to travelers along Route 66.
